Angel Whispers – The New Year 2017

We have just completed a year that held great challenges for many. The personal spiritual testing occurred time after time within a year of endings, sudden unexpected events, and pure chaos at times (tee tee). The new year offers a time of reflection, along with a chance to understand the completion of a nine year life cycle. Instead of being confused, or even shocked by the unexpected events, it is time to find peace with the process of change.

The new year is a ‘one’ year in numerology (2+1+7=10-1+0=1). The ‘one’ year, represents new beginnings in the next nine-year life cycle. Beginnings can be challenging, because they follow endings and can change our course in some way. When things don’t seem to go our way, self doubt, negative beliefs, and attitudes develop. In order to take a leap faith in the direction of our dreams, we have to inch closer to the proverbial ledge (lol). Standing on the precipice becomes that critical point where we go ahead and jump, or we turn around and run.

I think this new year is a lot more than simply review, then create resolutions. It’s saying good-bye to an old friend, even if that friend was a difficult relationship. Let’s get some insight from the angelic realm on saying goodbye to one friend and hello to a brand new one:

Every ending contains the energy of grief. This energy offers opportunities for transformation that stem from a newfound independence. For some, this will be experienced as taking the form of isolation and loneliness. In truth, this is true sovereignty that can be better understood as individual authenticity. The courage of each soul will be always be tested in a return to their true supreme power during this incarnation. Without change, there is only decay. Each soul must find acceptance with change, even when negative emotions exist. Emotions are merely the expressions that accompany change. Like the leaves dyeing on the trees and falling to the ground, the movement created by a change in seasons, is necessary for new life to emerge.

Humans struggle with change, due to the energy of grief and the perception of loss. Emotions experienced during endings and beginnings, are the key aspects of physical incarnation that transforms the soul into new levels of ascension. Finding the neutral position from which to accept that life is not inherently good nor bad, is only seen by the awakened soul with a solid spiritual connection. Knowing that one must let go of ruminating about failures in order to see the blessings that come with change, creates the greater ability to pivot in new directions, One rarely anticipates the exact future, they can only maintain the forward movement in the direction of their dreams and find peace with each transition.

Resisting change simply means that a personal decision has not been made. Confusion is clouding the mind, because clarity has not been established. Take the time to meditate on your passion. Let your heart speak louder than your mind. Allow your body to communicate the truth of your existence. Intention is purchasing the ticket that will determine the course and deliver you to your desired destination, even if the occasional detour occurs.

When love leads the way, life purpose manifests within satisfying, fulfilling and rewarding experiences.

Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something.

So that's my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you're scared of doing, Do it. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
