Angel Whispers is a weekly
e-mail from Russell.
Week of November 25:
Thanks
I want to give you all big
thanks for your support and response to my Angel Whispers.
It's because of you that I am inspired to write these. Think
of this email like the pumpkin pie to the turkey dinner,
combined with some serious talk over a meal.
Recent events involving the
passing of a beautiful soul have shaken me to the core, and
so I have to carefully consider my gratitude. Sometimes
things in life test your belief system, especially when
there are no answers to questions that surround a terrible
tragedy. This can lead to several emotional responses, but I
found myself bargaining. I negotiated over what could have
been done to change things.
As I processed through the
five stages of grief, which are denial, anger, bargaining,
depression and acceptance, I found myself eventually giving
thanks for the loved ones that surround me. I have to take a
spiritual teaching from this tragic lesson because I know
that is what this beautiful soul would want from me.
I'm not saying that the
grief process is over; on the contrary, I am saying that
part of the process includes my thanks for the life lesson
that I have just been taught. It just so happened to be
scattered in between my denial and anger. As I discovered
from this situation, I felt gratitude for my own family and
friends, and even took the time to express my feelings.
Thanks: 1) expression of
gratitude and pleasure for something given or done. So what
about giving thanks for something that has yet to happen?
Some think that this helps manifest your desires, and I have
to agree. When you give thanks for something that hasn't
happened yet, you are feeling the vibrations. Just like
trying on a new suit or dress, sending out the resonance of
gratitude for future events can be as rewarding as receiving
in real time, while messaging your desires to the Universe.
As I search for answers and
process my grief, I surrender myself to Spirit and all
things that are unknown, and I give thanks to everyone and
everything in all directions of space and time. Thank you
friends, family and heavenly guides for this whisper:
Thanks are more than a
feeling; it is an expression of hope. As you thank the
ones that surround you, a blanket of hope provides a
divine moment. If you are open to receive this gift, then
you are able to pass it on.
Without thanks, there
is no bond of hope. The balance that this brings will
serve more than the one. As you walk your path, you should
make time for accepting and sharing this gift.
When you become
engulfed in divine light, you are filled with gratitude
and in a perpetual state of thanks. This is how you are
connected with divine source. Giving thanks for something
seemingly small is your gateway into the angelic realm.
Gratitude for the moment is
the highest honor you can bestow to yourself, the ones
around you and the Highest Power. In the divine realm there
is a shining star that becomes brighter with prayers of
gratitude and remains eternally in the vision of hope.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
