Angel Whispers is a weekly

Week of November 3:
Faith
This word appeared in last
week's Whisper and then took me away into deep thoughts on
my morning bicycle rides. To me, this is a state of being
that your mind cannot support all alone. It takes the body
or heart to support and hold this emotional response to
life. I have been 'building' faith for the past few years.
I've always had it, even though I might have misplaced it
from time to time.
I went on my own spiritual
quest at the age of sixteen, first going to bible studies
followed by attending different churches. I ended up in the
First Baptist Church of my small hometown. During that
period of my life, I attended a rally at the local football
stadium to hear Billy Graham speak. I was 'saved' that night
by the inspirational words.
I set an intention right
then to try to live my life like Jesus. I soon found that I
didn't really resonate with the fear-based teachings of that
particular church. My last day there was when the minister
hurried through his sermon and ran out of the building,
saying he had to get home for the Dallas Cowboys' game. As I
came out on the steps of the church where we were usually
greeted by this spiritual leader, I heard tires burning
rubber. I turned to see the smoke of spinning tires on his
Cadillac as he drove from his special reserved front-row
parking spot.
So I left the church. I
became a big Dallas Cowboys' fan as I worked and watched
football on the weekends. I soon became a carpenter, and did
remodeling and restoration on old houses for the next thirty
years. I tried to be honest and treat people with respect as
I strongly adhere to the 'Golden Rule.' Then this last year,
I started creating my new life as a healer. I started my
'encore career' as an ATP© and crystal healer.
Recently, I had the
epiphany that decades ago I set the intention to live like
Jesus and now I can say that I tried the best that I knew
how. I have carried the faith from those days forward to
today. I may have misplaced it at times when I made
mistakes, but I never lost it. Faith: 1. A believing without
proof; trust; confidence; reliance. Will you join in faith
on this week's whisper?
Faith is the true power
of Source. The belief in the unknown is a power that
mankind has used for centuries to achieve great wonders on
the Earth. Faith can move mountains. Mountains can inspire
faith. Do you see the circle of energy that is created?
Faith is a key ingredient
to life. Do not allow expectations to color your faith.
When this happens, you have enabled your ego to take the
place of your faith. This will take a mountain of faith
and reduce it to rubble very quickly.
When you carry faith in
your heart that the positive aspects of life are here for
you, then they will be. The same goes for faith in the
negative. The bubble of light that you surround yourself
with is the energy connected to your faith.
When you make faith a
building block for your life, you will weather all storms.
When you make faith your foundation of life, you are a
pillar of courage and strength. This is the power of faith
when held in the serving light of the human spirit. Handle
with care!
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
