Week of September 7:
Death
Over the past few months, I
have had a closer relationship with this subject than I
would have chosen. I know there are many profound lessons
for me in my recent discoveries as I have felt a shift in my
own consciousness. As I wrote the word to start this
whisper, my first reaction was 'This is such morbid word for
a whisper.' What if it were called 'Transition # 4' or 'the
Great Beginning,' would that change our social attachments
to the beliefs of others regarding the word?
But the truth is that the
sooner we gain a healthy perspective on this aspect of our
being, the sooner we can evolve into our true purpose on
Earth. My recent perspective on loss tells me that physical
pain can be one of the experiences of grief, yet my work as
a medium tells me we can overcome these feelings with love,
joy and a willingness to stand in our own true light as well
as the light of others.
The loss of a loved one can
be the most profound, personal, and private experience that
we will ever face. No matter how intellectual or spiritual
we are, no matter what each of our beliefs supports, no
matter how strong we think we are, the death of a family
member, friend or acquaintance can alter our lives forever.
In this moment of reflection, I will ask the angels for a
whisper:
Death is
not the opposite of life any more than completing college
is the opposite of learning. The euphoric discharge of
energy of crossing over creates the opening for the
essence to leave the physical world. This represents the
end of a cycle of life and marks the beginning of
ascension into the light of love and the open arms of the
Divine.
Part of the mystery of the physical world is the
overlapping of planes. Most people are fearful to mix
these realms and therefore they stay separated by belief
systems. In reality, your deceased loved ones are more
present and available than ever before. There is a freedom
of the soul that allows for a merging of consciousness
within the physical plane. The only way to access this is
through understanding, removal of fears, prayers,
intention and, above all else, love.
The social structure builds boundaries that create the
paradigms in which you live. If you have no vision of the
possibilities that exist for you, the paradigm remains.
You could compare this to the phenomenon of apparitions of
deceased loved ones people have reported. These
experiences help expand the mind of the few so that others
may learn. Many claim that there is no God because they
have never witnessed anything that makes it real for them.
In truth, they have closed their minds and hearts to the
possibilities. Death challenges your belief system to
build faith on what you cannot see.
If you have ever witnessed the wonders that surround your
life on the physical plane, there is little to deny you
the Divine experience. This Divine moment cannot be placed
in a box, yet even today's science points toward the
Divine Matrix that connects all living matter. This
connection is whatever you want it to be! Universal laws
are in place for this reason alone. The conscious
decisions regarding life and death are yours. Eternity is
now and if you are focused on the inevitability of death,
think of the inevitability of life!
You have heard the saying 'Live every day like it is your
last,' and it usually refers to death. This tells you
something very important about the process of death and
the common views that are shared. If you could allow the
basic premise of this statement to alter your psyche
without the threat of death, your heart would grow wings,
your breath would move mountains and your purpose would
inspire everyone you meet.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
