Politics
What a deep dark subject to
explore (tee hee). Politics has become a taboo subject in
some of my circles and is something I think twice about
before bringing up in public, much less the family
gathering.
The thing that disturbs me
is the way conflict and divisiveness have become the
hallmark of modern-day campaigns. In the years past, I have
become apathetic toward the process of electing government
officials and participating in the system. I find myself
doing what most Americans are expressing they do, which is
voting against the person whom they like the least.
The millions of dollars
spent for these elected officials to obtain an office of
service that includes comparatively small pay lends itself
to a higher potential for corruption at all levels. And for
this reason alone, my trust levels have been slowly dropping
as the entertainment value has been increasing!
It is interesting for me to
note that most people have a tendency to shy away from the
subject of politics. This may be due to the belief that no
matter how hard a candidate tries, issues of integrity seem
to follow them right into public office. Let's see if the
angels can shed some light on the politics of our world
today:
The fabric of society
is spun around the chosen leaders of the people. As the
political landscape changes, so does the moral barometer
of the Earth. Placing people in charge to represent you in
matters of finances, services, spirituality and protection
is a serious responsibility that ultimately affects
everyone.
If you decide to turn from the process, you are making the
choice to let others become the architects and archetypes
of your environment. If you are not willing to face this,
then who will do it for you? The mirror can challenge you
to see the truth, and yet reflection is essential to the
process of evolution.
As long as power drives politics and that power is
attached to money and big business, the poor and needy
will not have a voice except in empty speeches and
promises. The true power is in people, and the people must
unite at some level to achieve a balance in politics.
Modern politics falls into the category of a paradigm that
well outlasted the vision, which translates to change
becoming divinely unavoidable.
The arrival of the age of information heralds the end of
times for lack of transparency in politics. It only takes
a willingness to take a comprehensive view, pay attention
to your choices and clearly define the needs of others in
a framework of rational thinking. In this light, your
personal power to effect change in the world lies in your
willingness to speak the truth, remain positive, and
refuse to carry a load that is not yours. Your ability to
love yourself and the world in which you live will always
support you.
Your life process is a long series of conscious decisions
about the world that you inherited from your ancestors.
All you need to know is that you deserve the life you were
born to live and so do all children. This moment in time
was built on the courage of others who have handed you the
system that will pass through your hands.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
