Archangels
Part of my definition of
the word Archangels revolves around my own experiences and
beliefs regarding angels. So to explain the unseen and write
about what is unwritten has nearly paralyzed me in front of
the computer screen. I wondered why I have never written a
whisper on the Archangels, and maybe I am answering my own
question with the magnitude of the task. Maybe that's
angelic in itself?
The Biblical definition
might go something like this: Archangels are superior or
higher-ranking angels. The only angel ever clearly named as
being of the order in the Bible is Michael. Archangel
Michael is also known as Saint Michael, has a name with the
Hebrew translation meaning "he who is like God" and is often
depicted as the angel commander, guardian of the Orthodox
faith, advocate for Israel and a fighter against negative
energy.
The archangels Michael,
Raphael (he who heals) and Gabriel (he who communicates) are
venerated in the Roman Catholic Church with a feast day on
September 29. My recent discovery of the feast day gave me
that tingly feeling since that is also my birthday. An angel
reader born on the Archangels' feast day? You can't make
this stuff up!
I often tell people that
the Archangels can be all places at once, so you are never
disturbing them with anything too little or too large. I
invite you to call upon these beings of light and feel the
power of their connection to everything that is spiritual
for help with your intentions and dreams. I will now call on
the Archangels for a whisper of reflection:
If you collected the
souls that have walked the Earth and chose the most wise
and loving sampling of these spirits, you would be setting
those individuals aside and apart from the rest. These
spirits would then feel called into service for being
honored in this way. This is the same as the Archangels.
We are a collection of the most evolved in our group of
light-filled servants to the Divine.
As your leaders have taken on roles in the society that
best fit their gifts, so have the Archangels. This gives
us the ability to call in 'specialists' for every
situation. For this reason prayers and requests take
discernment on many levels and many layers. Weaving your
story into the environment of your heart and landscape of
your soul is exacting when it comes to fitting your life
purpose.
If you think your prayers are going unanswered, know that
they are always heard. Look deep into every situation to
know whether there is an answer or whether you have
overlooked the message generated from your prayers. The
best form of communication with the Archangels is the
intentional transmission of thought to Divine Source using
angelic energy as a conduit. This becomes a form of
surrender, gratitude, faith, passion and love for the
body, mind, spirit and all forms of life.
Love is the wellspring from which mankind finds meaning,
purpose, peace and energy. The Angels and Archangels can
connect you to this flow like a wave connects you with the
ocean. In the exploration of life, the playful and joyful
spirit of a child shines through and touches the angels in
the same way that they touch you. Breathe in the air that
surrounds the angelic realm and breathe out all that does
not serve.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
