Illusion
Would you believe that
illusions are often helpful in our lives? Well, maybe this
isn't always the case or even the norm, but I have been
getting lessons on the illusions that we create and
co-create as well as those that others create and the role
illusions play in our lives.
An illusion is a distortion
of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes
and interprets sensory stimulation. While illusions distort
reality, they are generally shared by most people. Illusions
may occur with more of the human senses than vision, but
visual illusions, optical illusions, are the most well known
and understood. The emphasis on visual illusions occurs
because vision often dominates the other senses.
The term illusion refers to
a specific form of sensory distortion. Unlike a
hallucination, which is a distortion in the absence of a
stimulus, an illusion describes a misinterpretation of a
true sensation. For example, hearing voices regardless of
the environment would be a hallucination, whereas hearing
voices in the sound of running water (or other auditory
source) would be an illusion.
By that example, I am
living an illusion or a series of back-to-back
hallucinations (tee hee). I truly hold a belief that
supports me when I hear my inner voice, the voice of Spirit
or the voice of angels. Maybe we can clear up some illusions
with the wisdom and voice of an angel in the form of a
whisper:
In order for angels to
communicate, it is sometimes necessary to use illusions
such as dreams, visions and what some might consider a
phenomenon. This alone is the reason to co-create the
illusions that become part of the human experience.
Without the illusion, the human experience might become
predictable and without the willingness to change or
experience growth through challenges.
It is in the dreams of others that you will find illusion,
yet that is also where you find passion. Inside the energy
of love you will find illusion and truth constantly coming
together in ways that could not have been expected. That
is why we co-create with you even if the illusion is
completely false. There is an unknown element that
nurtures your future with something that warms the heart.
An illusion that holds you in a paradigm and prevents
change is the unhealthy form of illusion. When something
is clearly without truth, the illusion is only serving the
ego. If there is a glimmer of truth, the shine will make
the illusion appealing and possibly serving. If you open
to this process, it can bring understanding, forgiveness
and love into greater awareness in your life.
What about God, the angels and all that is Divine? Isn't
this some form of an illusion by definition? Look at the
way an illusion serves mankind to find the truth, and
remember it is always the feeling behind the illusion that
you can trust regardless of your circumstances or events.
This is where you will find the knowledge to move beyond
the illusions of life and into the full spectrum of love
as you travel the rainbow bridge that takes you beyond
your present reality and into your dreams.

and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
