New Age
This is a great example of
a term that has many meanings, with a life of its own. I
personally didn't like it when a lawyer called me about
testifying in a case, and used a rather indignant tone when
he said, "I don't know anything about this New Age stuff."
Truth is, here is nothing "New Age" about psychics, mediums,
crystal healing and angels.
New Age has become a label
with a bad connotation, like so many others in our language,
such as liberal, environmentalists, lightworkers or even
contractors (tee hee). I have friends who interpret the
English language by the tone in which it is spoken, and in
some ways I think everyone does this in any language,
whether consciously or not.
The truth is that we are
entering a New Age and as we shift into the energy of the
Age of Aquarius, we are repeating an earth cycle that is
26,000 years old. There is nothing new about it, other than
it is new to us in this lifetime.
As you may know, I usually
include a definition in my Angel Whispers, but as I
researched the term, I found ridiculous and condemning
descriptions and meanings. Everything from those containing
atheistic beliefs to non-Christian traditions, combined with
a text 'tone' to have you believe that crystals, Tarot cards
and astrology are the newest forms of spiritual extremism.
It was a real eye-opener and an affirmation of my resistance
to being labeled as such. So no definition this time, except
from the angels (lol)! So with that, let's see what the
angelic guides have to say about the New Age:
There is nothing new
about the language of man and the interpretation of
language, except the times. Certain meanings around the
use of such terms are often taken and used in order to
gain power over people. If someone can trigger a block or
resistance simply by using or misusing a word, it can
easily become a tool to gain control over the masses.
In addition, this can draw people to the movement with
promises of joining a group of like minds to reject
establishments and hierarchy. As religious and social
structures collapse under the weight of stagnant energy,
economic irresponsibility and outdated teachings, people
will search for alternatives. The teachings brought to
mankind were meant to be expanded by taking a foundation
and building on it. It should come as no surprise that
these find resistance from those wanting to maintain
power.
There are illusions in every aspect of human development,
so that people can learn and grow. If you accept this,
using basic teachings as your foundations and expanding
from there, you will release old paradigms with a
conscious flow in the future. The reason that some visions
feel negative is part of the process of discernment around
these illusions. In that light, you are stepping into a
new age of enlightenment, spirituality, living in
conscious harmony and learning new levels of trust within
your self.
If you create a space in your mind and heart that affirms
within every person there is an avatar, you can find
success in your New Age discernment, feel the Universal
energy that connects all of life and evolve into a higher
consciousness. Within this heart space, you can feel the
essence of the New Age without attachments to the beliefs
of others and with unrestrained love and joy for the
opportunity that is before you now.

and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
