Obligation

As I engage in the process of studying words, the path to discovery seems littered with remnants of our history. These remnants appear as shiny gems casting beams of light into the darkness and are a reference to the great quotes and word meanings that inspire the 'angel whispers.'

Simply put, an obligation is a requirement to take some course of action, whether legal or moral. 1. The act of binding oneself by a social, legal, or moral tie. 2. A course of action imposed by society, law, or conscience by which one is bound or restricted.

3. The constraining power of a promise, contract, law, or sense of duty.

Here are a few quotes that best express the meaning of obligation, followed by some quotes from the angels in the form of a whisper:

If the energy of an action that has been labeled an obligation stems from toxic emotions, re-evaluation and further discernment may serve you. When an obligation brings up resistance, this could be a sign that your body is messaging a need to take another look at the action step that is before you. Cords of attachments based in negative emotions can support actions that are out of alignment with your true intentions.

It is easy for a false sense of commitment to rule your priorities and thus override your energy in a way that could be self-destructive, but there is always knowledge provided in these actions that carries some insight around the truth of your being. Distractions can be a delay tactic used by your ego and the matrix to fool you into thinking that your obligation is an essential part of your Divine Life-Purpose.

Therefore it is important to discern any obligations based in false illusions around your sense of duty in order to ensure the positive direction of energy. You made but one commitment to the world when you evolved onto the physical plane, and that is an obligation to move in the direction that brings you closer to love for the Highest Power in the Universe, loving life and loving yourself.

When your mind, body and spirit move in harmony with this alignment, you have just successfully made the world a better place to live! Balance what you think with what you feel, to fully express an obligation to love.
