Angel Whispers is a weekly
inspirational message from your angels by Russell Forsyth.
Week of June 14, 2009:
Simple
My angelic guides deliver several
common messages such as 'eat healthy,' 'increase energy flow
through movement,' 'get plenty of rest' and, above all else,
'keep it simple.' When life feels complicated, that could be
your signal for the need to simplify.
My wife, Beckie, does organizational
and de-clutter work with her clients, and there is a
relationship between clutter and non-simple living that
could follow a thread to an emotional need. She helps people
in ways aimed at simplifying their lives with an assessment
of their living and physical workspace. But how do we keep
it simple?
I must admit the big belly-laugh
that I received while searching the meaning of the word
simple. Simple: single, not complex, not unfolded or
entangled, not compounded, not blended with something else,
not complicated; 2) plain; 3) not other than; 4) not given
to artifice; 5-23) many more definitions with the word
'not'; 24) childlike trust or dewy-eyed innocence (lol). I
was beginning to think that the dictionary was going to
infinity with everything simple did not mean, until No. 24
hit upon a simple meaning.
It is my intention to keep angel
whispers simple and easy to understand, yet this word
clearly demonstrates that our language has so many
complexities, no wonder we struggle to communicate in
relationships, family matters and certain aspects of life
that require language. Finding a simple space to have
moments of simplicity to communicate simple basic needs can
be challenging. Nonetheless, it's time to find that space to
communicate a simple whisper:
Keeping life simple can be the
highest form of faith-based living, as you limit
distractions or anything that can keep your focus from
your divine life-purpose. In the modern world, there are
many opportunities to make things complicated without much
effort. Unfortunately, negative feelings have been
associated with the word simple, such as 'being bored' and
'without substance,' which can lead to a perceived need
for constant stimulation. This need can manifest into a
lifestyle that becomes disconnected from Divine and Inner
guidance.
Simple is also easy, and living with ease can bring peace
and comfort to life in a way that leads to expansion and
focus on the body, mind and spirit. Within this space, you
can find presence, understanding and truth that illuminate
the true meaning of life.
In order to live life to the fullest, find a love for the
simple things such as enjoying a sunset, taking time to
listen to the song of a bird or stopping to smell the
roses.
Faith provides the foundation on which to build a simple
life with the energy of happiness, acceptance, joy, love
and gratitude. If you are working on your vision of the
future, keep it positive and simple. This will lead you to
take action steps that resonate with your true essence. If
you are not ready or willing to see things in this light,
complication may be serving a need to learn more lessons
in life, or serving an illusion that is fed by the ego.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
