Duality
This word comes up frequently in my
work and seems to appear on many different levels. In
scientific terms, every cell structure is formed with polar
opposites, and the movement generated between these parts
provides the basis of all energy in the Universe.
When you apply that principle to the
combination of cells that form the human body, it becomes
apparent that we receive cumulative energy in this form.
This could explain why an imbalance at some level depletes
our energy. In theory, opposites that are equal to each
other make up our Universe and present a dichotomy to every
aspect of life. Without darkness, there can be no light and
vice versa.
Duality: a situation or nature that
has two states or parts that are complementary or opposed to
each other. Complementary is the word I was looking for to
describe how opposites attract in a serving manner. Eckhart
Tolle says, "When you live in surrender, something comes
through you into the world of duality that is not of this
world," while Sri Guru Granth Sahib is quoted as saying,
"Burn the pen, and burn the ink; burn the paper as well.
Burn the writer who writes in the love of duality."
Oooops, why do I suddenly feel
cursed (lol)? It's not that I love duality as much as I am
trying to understand how it applies to my life. Let me
stretch the limits of duality with a whisper from an angel:
Words often form limitations in
the mind of those who speak them without understanding the
true meaning. The tone of judgment within the language can
block reception as truth meets opinion. Duality helps
illuminate the truth when all sides are displayed without
ego or manipulation.
If you are willing to reach for understanding and
knowledge, opposing forces can unlock information stored
at the deep levels within the body, mind and spirit.
Engaging in the process of acceptance of duality creates
opportunities for spiritual growth through human
experiences, while simultaneously exposing core truths and
beliefs.
Bringing balance to extreme conditions enlightens the soul
or essence through energetic transfers of information.
This allows for discernment in all areas of life with an
opportunity to shift repeating patterns and addictive
behaviors, which opens the door to manifesting dreams and
desires.
As you breathe in and then breathe out, you experience the
duality of giving and receiving in the most natural cycle
of awareness. Breathing in unison with another individual
connects the Cosmic Hearts. Breathing with a group through
song, meditation or chants sends balanced love across the
Universe as light intersects with dark. Understanding
propels the energy of love and acceptance that whispers in
your ears and tells you that everything is in Divine
order.

and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
