Guidance
This is a word that demands
attention, and I am surprised that I don't already have a
'whisper' on its meaning. My job is to help people with
their guidance and I often give affirming information with
some Divine assistance. I also work with several people
who are guided in unusual and inspirational ways to
fulfill a life mission.
Guidance means something that
provides direction or advice as to a decision or course of
action: the act of guiding or showing the way. According to
Buddha, "Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so
virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a
pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of
human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance
of virtue."
There are usually two sides to every
coin and I think guidance is no exception. Ego can affect
our inner guidance and lead us astray if we are not careful.
Yet Divine guidance is always empowering to the individual,
and this feeling can help discern where the information is
coming from.
Visions can guide our actions, even
if an illusion is being presented, and in this manner we can
learn lessons of love and life. I was once guided on a
thirteen-mile hike which had several thousand feet of
elevation changes. Had I known the truth about the
difficulty of the task, I might have declined the
invitation, but in the end I was forever changed for the
better. Let's tune in for some guidance in the form of an
angel that whispers:
Mankind has been guided from
the beginning of time in order to arrive at this moment in
time. The trials and tribulations of reaching this point
in time are not without merit, so judgments on the nature
of following guidance do not always tell the story.
Guidance requires an individual to 'tune in' to the
vibrations of the body in order to discern the truth
around what is serving. Complete resonance with a thought
or idea provides energy to move forward in the direction
of your divine path. Feeling your way around the truth
determines the need, or lack of it, to create action steps
around your guidance. In other words, there is no need to
repeat the experience if you have already learned the
lessons.
In the absence of faith, guidance could lead you on a
harsh and painful journey. Therefore, the best guidance is
offered inside faith as it teaches you to place the 'how'
in the hands of the Highest Power while surrendering to
the illuminated truth.
Nearly every aspect of your spiritual life offers
opportunities to grow beyond the limits of the mind.
Guidance can be affirmed by the Universe when you are not
clear about your path or if you are unsure about moving
forward with the information that you received. The
ancient civilizations used the elders as a source of
affirming knowledge, and modern times should present no
difference.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
