Power
Thanks for all the notes and
messages that carry your thoughts on 'Angel Whispers.'
Your feedback gives me pleasure and power (tee hee)! A
reader asked several thought-provoking questions about the
word 'power' and its meaning, so I am taking it to the
Source for answers.
My knowledge and experience tells me
that the power center of the body is in the mid-section of
the torso or the Solar Plexus. When a person suffers abuse
at the hands of another, they are taking power from that
individual with an exertion of free will. That type of event
can initiate the need for healing energy to reactivate
personal authority, or clear the Solar Plexus energy center.
The energy of love and forgiveness can restore that personal
power.
In physics, the definition of power
is the time rate at which work is done or energy is
transferred. Power can also be defined as possession of
controlling influence or possession of the qualities
(especially mental qualities) required to do something or
get something done.
Jimi Hendrix once said: "When the
power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will
know peace." Ultimately, I see a person's power as a gift
and, like everyone else, I sometimes struggle with accepting
that power or gift. We are all powerful beings and it is
that acknowledgment that allows us to get things done with
style and grace. With that grace, I will listen for a
whisper from an angel on power:
Mankind was given the
power to create within the magic and mysteries of the
planet Earth. Acknowledgment of personal power, when used
in the highest good, brings freedom to the soul and Divine
Purpose to life. It is easy to shrink in the shadow of
your personal power under the influence of ego judgments
and illusions, so your truest acknowledgment is essential
to feel freedom from self-defeating actions.
Those who have awakened to their power and continue to
grow within that energy are on the path to unlimited
success in the areas of love, relationships and spiritual
development. In this energy, all paths lead toward peace.
Those who seek to gain power over another individual are
seeking knowledge from within darkness, so interaction
with others provides the opportunities to learn about the
light.
The unexpressed emotions of souls that are stuck in their
lower energies need release at some level. Once your soul
has agreed to accept these energies, balance can be
restored through the practice of mercy and forgiveness.
This single act of love provides teachings for everyone
involved, including all witnesses.
If you want to focus on your power, you will find the
greatest measure in your capacity to love, your ability to
forgive and your perspective on life and death. You will
find power within faith and your connection to Spirit, and
from that perspective all power will reside in the energy
of love. The purest energy of power is found in the
willingness to surrender to the truth of life on Earth,
where the power of acceptance becomes the energy of peace.

and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
