Dharma
Just think what kind of world it
would be if everyone took responsibility for their
actions! All my guidance around spiritual growth points
toward the need to take care of our dharma
(responsibilities) in order to experience the highest
level of enlightenment.
The term dharma is an Indian spiritual term that means
one's righteous duty, or any virtuous path. The word
dharma translates as that which upholds or supports, and
is generally translated into English as 'law'. According
to the various Indian beliefs, beings that live in
accordance with dharma proceed more quickly toward Nirvana
or personal liberation. The antonym of dharma is adharma,
meaning unnatural or immoral.
I think it is interesting that while some take on more
than their share of responsibility, others avoid it like
the plague and can even take this avoidance to extreme
levels. I sometime witness those on a spiritual path
giving over all powers to the concepts of angels and God,
which is fine unless that includes giving over their
dharma. Some movies that teach Quantum Physics leave out
pieces of information that can lead you into a practice of
"just think it and it will be so." To me this teaching
lacks information and therefore integrity, which can lead
some down the wrong path. Let's see what the angels say
about holding our responsibilities and the deeper meaning
of dharma:
You might think of dharma as a
sensibility instead of a responsibility. Personal freedoms
and spiritual liberation emerge from a strong focus on the
truth and the responsibility found within such truth.
There is a partnership that exists between the spiritual
body and the physical body. In order to find a healthy
balance between the two, it is essential for all energies
to participate in steps leading to your desired outcome.
Your mind, body and spirit often experience comfort and
self-love in the effort to uphold your dharma, while
disharmony can result in the denial of one's true
responsibility. The Universe provides a platform that will
support you in all aspects of dharma, yet the true
recognition of dharma can be without conscious form.
Therefore, it is your intention that connects inner
knowing with your action steps in relationship to your
dharma.
Asking about dharma raises questions around the complex
meanings given to this word over the centuries. It is
often left up to an individual's belief system to make an
assessment of responsibility in response to even the
smallest decisions. This means that dharma shifts and
conforms to knowledge and awareness. When one builds
faith, one builds dharma in the same way that nature
builds life.
Everyone must walk on a path that views the world through
a lens that brings focus on dharma, so make no mistake
about it. This is an elevated view that aligns with the
Christ Consciousness, where there is no illusion of right
or wrong. From this perspective, truth brings illumination
to the Big Picture as your energy dances around the bright
light of passion, like flames moving in harmony around a
heart-shaped fire.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
