Rewards
How do you reward yourself? If you
are like me, it is usually with food or consumption of
some kind, like a big fat chocolate shake and a juicy
hamburger (lol). Obviously, some of us find love in the
comfort of food and we may tap into that love as we taste
our sweet rewards. But is doing something that is
considered unhealthy really a reward, or do we all need to
go to Hawaii?
By definition reward means something given or received in
recompense for worthy behavior or in retribution for evil
acts. A satisfying return, result, or profit could also
describe a reward. In Psychology, the return for
performance of a desired behavior or another form of
positive reinforcement is considered a reward. Earl
Nightingale once said, "Our rewards will always be in
exact proportion to our service."
Retribution for evil is a reward? That definition raises
more questions than answers, which must speak to the
contrast inherent with our language. Since most people I
meet are challenged in the area of receiving, you might
speculate that rewards from others and even those offered
by the Universe can go unrecognized. Maybe the angels will
reward us with a deeper understanding of reward in the
form of a whisper:
Rewards are delivered from the
Universe as an acknowledgment and as a response to your
energetic participation with an outcome. Without rewards,
it is easy to retreat into a shell of illusion and the
darkness of lower energies. You can be challenged in
opening to the rewards that are offered if you dwell in
the lower energies that separate you from faith and hope.
If you place the responsibility of validation in the hands
of others, or if you limit yourself from the process of
validation, it is easy to become out of balance. So
failing to recognize the rewards of life creates
disharmony and ultimately results in lowered self-esteem.
A gift from spirit can be subtle and easily discounted or
overlooked, which can serve in the sense that the need for
truth and love to become more present is being illuminated
for you.
In the deepest mystery of life, there is a wonderful
structure that requires some level of comprehension and
awakening to the fact that your commitment to service
makes you an invaluable asset. This awakening can help you
better understand your place in the world as your defining
moments become unveiled in a single instant of reward.
Allow yourself to feel and accept your just rewards with a
willingness to stand on the podium to receive your 'Gold
Medal' as a symbol that you went the extra mile in a
devotion and commitment to the process known as life on
Earth. Within the energy of love, rewards are without
obstacles or limits!
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!

I just needed to say hello and send you such gratitude for
putting me on the list to receive your Angel Whispers that you
do for everyone each week.
There is so much I get from them, and they especially ring
