Willingness
This word comes up a lot in the
Angel Whispers and in each of our personal journeys.
Willingness could translate to some as sacrifice, release,
shifting perspective, spiritual growth and any number of
emotional responses. Sometimes it might serve to become a
'Yes Man' (lol) in order to experience the benefits of
being willing to try new things or break free from old
patterns.
According to Miriam-Webster's, willingness is a noun from
the 14th century that means inclined or favorably disposed
in mind, or ready, willing and eager to help. Being
willing can be a call to act or respond to accept without
resistance. Willingness can be associated with sacrifice
through choice. Wentworth Miller once said, "Confidence is
at the root of so many attractive qualities, a sense of
humor, a sense of style, a willingness to be who you are
no matter what anyone else might think or say, and it's
true, I do have a certain fondness for women that have
dark hair."
That quote adds a certain playful romance to the idea of
being willing to show others who you really are! Maybe I
should seriously think about adding this word to my
romantic charm: "Beckie, is there willingness to ______
(blank)?" instead of the usual wink, wink and nod, nod
(tee hee). And now for a wink and a nod from the angels in
a whisper on willingness:
Growth springs from a willing
heart. A heart that is open can receive information on
love through experiences and feelings presented with the
energy of willingness. Love lessons can lead to challenges
around the freedom to open the heart, especially if harsh
experiences led to feeling hurt.
Trusting that the heart can open and receive without pain
is in the energetic response that springs forth from your
willingness, which is a demonstration of holding faith in
a shifting paradigm or a changing landscape. Your
willingness to expand or take a risk can be as simple as
opening the arms in a flowing gesture that tells the world
your heart is open to receiving on this day.
The sacrifice associated with willingness has the light of
truth, whether it is letting go of a thought pattern,
leaving a bad situation or altering a belief system.
Sacrifice can lead to improvements in the quality of life,
so willingness can release you from any illusions you may
be following.
Why would you be anything but willing to completely open
your heart and to witness everything that life has to
offer? One simple moment of your willingness to forgive
can release a heaviness that you have carried which may
have offered lessons through contrast. Without that weight
and with a willingness to move forward, your awareness
offers magic, love becomes more present, and your life
fully illuminates the miracles that litter your pathway to
ascension.
Be unwilling to commit to the absence of love and then
simply receive into your open heart.
Bring joy, ease suffering
and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
