Birds

It has been my experience that birds have an important place on our planet and with mankind. The cardinal seems to have a special relationship with our deceased loved ones, often delivering a comforting energy to those in grief. Also, I have found a common thread in most spiritual teachings that speaks to signs from Angels being delivered by winged creatures.

In a recent workshop, a man spoke of a magic moment with a bird that came to his window. The bird, who claimed to be a General (tee hee), transferred what I believe was important information regarding the birds' place in the spiritual realm. The bird claimed to have purpose around healing this man and another person living in the complex. What followed was an energetic shift attached to strong feelings.

In addition, the bird indicated that the reason they flock together and create such visual beauty in flight was for the conscious shifting of energy for the humans and the Earth. This reminded me of a moment when I was looking out over the river that flows through Austin at sunset and witnessed a flock of birds spiraling high into the air, followed by diving toward the water with incredible continuity and harmony. The cumulative effort formed an outline similar to the shape of a single candle flame.

That moment moved me to the depths of my soul with feelings of the beauty that surrounds us in nature while connecting me with the Highest Power of the Universe. Let's call upon the birds' winged partners that we call Angels for a whisper on birds.

If you study ancient text and Native American philosophy, every animal has a specific meaning and are referred to as totems. These teachings came from Spirit and those meanings were transferred energetically. The Renaissance painters saw Angels as highly illuminated balls of light that, when transferred to canvas, became a winged human form. Once again, this was an energetic transfer.

Birds have the ability to bridge the physical and the spirit world with incredible compassion as they are free from limiting beliefs and have eyesight that is aligned with both worlds. Did you think they were simply nervous creatures? Look deeply into the eyes of a bird and listen to their vocalization in order to receive their divinely orchestrated apocalypse.

The paths of the bird and of mankind are closely aligned, with the birds being slightly ahead of man in the evolution process, in the sense they have lifted off the ground in ascension known as flight. Birds have not always flown and there is still evidence of that. In this context, you learn a lot about life on Earth as a casual observer of nature and, in particular, birds. Freedom of flight is something you will experience in your soul journey, for some day you will soar with the eagles, dance with the clouds and sing your own individually defining song of the heart.

Note: When I was receiving the whisper, I clearly heard the word apocalypse, which had a negative connotation to me. When I finished, I looked up that word and to my surprise found the definition to be "Lifting the veil"! I went to my email and found a large advertisement that was using the picture of a dancing Native American dressed as a bird, complete with wings and a bird-like tail. I love my job!

                       Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
