Dedication
Dedication is defined in some
circles as the act of setting apart or consecrating to a
divine Being, or to a sacred use, often with religious
solemnities; solemn appropriation or the act of binding
yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of
action.
In the exploration of certain commitments of mine and
looking at the different levels, I started to examine my
dedication under the microscope. A careful discernment of my
dedication to the people and things involved can be
affirming in regards to how I feel about my action steps.
Personally, I might have a tendency to have such a narrow
focus on my dedications that it would be easy to miss
something coming up behind me (tee hee).
And then there are priorities. When does the commitment to
one thing take precedence over another? It can be amusing at
times to see where others dedicate their energy, like those
who might listen for a whisper from an angel (tee hee). It
must be time to dedicate some energy to a divine perspective
on the meaning of dedication:
Unlike commitments, dedications
are usually evoked from the heart with a range and depth
of feelings and emotions. Your dedications connect to the
emotional body in a way that distributes your passionate
feelings to every energetic cell in the body. Any thing
that takes you out of balance can disrupt those energies
and bring questions to your dedications in life. The
example would be an event that compromises your faith with
a response that shifts your desire to worship.
There is also a connection between your dedications, your
belief system and your spiritual purpose. Feeling free to
release loving energy in the direction of your heart's
desires gives your dedicated activities purpose, which
rewards your efforts in meaningful ways. Dedicating
yourself to unconditional love and letting go of anything
that doesn't resonate as truth will direct your focus to
the important features that surround your existence. You
are then fully awakened to the life you were born to live,
which speaks to the importance that dedication plays in
your spiritual life.
For the greatest vibrational response, you can ask
yourself one question: "Does my dedication to those
efforts bring me closer to my divine life purpose?" Asking
the question connects you with a higher power and opens
you to receiving an answer. No matter how you receive,
your willingness to ask the question will eventually lead
you to the direction and guidance that you seek.
In your dedication, the God self intones to the
Universe.
PS. I had to look it up after the
angels whispered the word "intones" in that last sentence. I
think they meant "speaks in musical or prolonged notes" (lol).

and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
